Welcome to the Ultimate Robot Archive Wikia[]
The aim of this wiki is to become the ultimate guide to the History of Robotic Competition from its known origins in the late 1970s to the early 2000s televised era, the mists of time that came after to the present day! This wiki aims to cover all known Robotic Competition events such as Robot Wars, BattleBots, Robotica, RoboGames and Techno Games. We are working on at least 12 articles, 3,480 articles to be precise, each containing some sort of event or robot. If your lucky, you might even spot a Sumo and Motorsport event!
Robotic Disciplines[]
We cover several different areas of robotics on this wiki. Examples include:
Robot Combat[]
Perhaps what we are most known for, the Ultimate Robot Archive contains an extensive list of most machine to have ever been entered into this type of competition of all-out destruction, ranging from the Robot Wars of '94-'97 to modern events such as Mechmania and BuggleBots.
Robotic Motorsport[]
A fairly recent addition to this wiki, the niche area of robotic motorsports is a small, yet growing, robotic discipline where teams will take actual cars and work to make them completely autonomous and capable of driving whatever course is in front of them all by themselves with no human operation.
Robot Sumo[]
While we have yet to get into the official robot sumo events, there is a small section of robot sumo in events like Robot Wars and Techno Games. It and other less destructive events are common in Japan, such as maze running.
And More[]
There are several more types of robotics that us admins haven't even scratched the surface of. Several unexplored robot types on this wiki can be found on the RoboGames page.
