In every odd-numbered year since 2003, Team Run Amok captain Mark Joerger has opened up voting in his Combat Robot Hall of Fame. Roboteers from all over the world cast ballots listing all the robots that they felt merited a place. Any robot appearing on 50% or more of the ballots was granted entry into the hall of fame, whilst any robot whose name was on 25% or more received an honourable mention.

The official Combat Robot Hall of Fame page can be found at [1]

They achieved their status based on:

  • Dominating success in combat
  • Pioneering or perfecting influential designs
  • Having great fan or entertainment appeal, or
  • Otherwise making a lasting impact on the sport.
