Super Nintendo Chalmers at Kilobots 42
Super Nintendo Chalmers is a US Antweight class robot built by Team Butts_Bots. It is a compact aluminium ring with a pair of teeth bolted to the outsides powered by a pair of brushless motors. Super Nintendo Chalmers is a thwackbot with an onboard computer and accelerometer that allows it to translate during its spins, similar to a metly-brain. Although it has had effectively no success at any event, it is a builder favorite, earning the award for "Most Innovative Design" at its debut. Super Nintendo Chalmers takes its name from a line said by Ralph Wiggum on the television show The Simpsons.
Robot History
Kilobots XXXVIII
Super Nintendo Chalmers made its debut at Kilobots XXXVIII in prototype form, but did not have any fights, and was not suitable for use as a loanerbot in the sportsman-type competitions that made up most of this event. It did however have a grudge match against ¡Pushinator! 2.0 as a means of testing its systems in a mock battle. No winner was declared for this fight.

Super Nintendo Chalmers at Kilobots 40
Super Nintendo Chalmers' first tournament fight was against Chomper. Super Nintendo Chalmers lost this fight and dropped into the loser's bracket.
Super Nintendo Chalmers then fought full body spinner Number 2. Super Nintendo Chalmers lost this fight and was eliminated from the tournament.
Super Nintendo Chalmers wasn't done yet, as it returned for the antweight rumble.
Kilobots XLII
For this event, the antweight masters class was a two-on-two "gladiator" style competition.
In its first fight, Super Nintendo Chalmers was paired up with its teammate Steamed Hams against newcomers Bacchus and Meg Mint. Super Nintendo Chalmers spun up, attempting to maneuver towards Bacchus but slamming into the arena walls and bouncing around the blue hazard. After this, its directional LED shut off and the robot stopped moving, wherupon it was pushed into the wall by Bacchus, where it remained for the rest of the fight. Thankfully for Super Nintendo Chalmers, its partner was able to defeat both opponents, earning both it and Super Nintendo Chalmers a win and one point each.
