StingRayBot as Scorpion in 1996
StingRayBot (alternatively known as Scorpion) was a Middleweight robot built by Jerry Burton that competed in the 1995 and 1996 US Robot Wars. It was a pointed box-wedge shaped sit-and-spin robot with a static pick-axe on an extended arm at the rear and also had smaller static arms each with an executioner's axehead at the sides and a ramming spike at the front. It was reasonably successful, reaching the Semi-Finals before losing to X1.

StingRayBot in 1995
StingRayBot's first opponent was Have A Nice Day. H.A.N.D showed limited movement and eventually broke down after StingRayBot shoved it and repeatedly slammed it with its static pick axe. StingRayBot took on defending Middleweight Champion X1 in the Semi-Finals and lost.
