Sewer Snake

Sewer Snake Was a Heavyweight Combat Robot built by Team Plumb Crazy that debuted during the 2004 Combots Open, its weapon was a lifting wedge. Later a top mounted lifter was added. Sewer Snake competed in almost every Robogames event from 2005 until 2014, after which it was retired and replaced by Evil Plunger. But it did register to Robogames 2016 However it did not make it to the event. It did very well winning gold in its first ever Robogames, winning its debut event, and holding the second most Heavyweight Gold Medals behind Original Sin. Sewer Snake went through some drastic design changes over the years being a mere six wheeled wedge in its debut appearance. By 2013 it was a robot capable of both Breakdancing and throwing robots out the arena with ease.

Robot History Edit

Combots Open 2004Edit

Sewer Snakes first match was against Spinning Mayhem. This fight started with Spinning Mayhem trying to spin up, however Sewer Snake box rushed it, and slammed it into the rails. This immobilized Spinning Mayhem for a quick and easy KO.

This put them against Final Verdict. Immediately Sewer Snake employed the same tactic it did against Spinning Mayhem, and not only prevented Final Verdict from spinning up. But also stalled out its weapon motor as well, Sewer Snake then started taking Final Verdict around the arena, and with no active weapon the Final Verdict team tapped out to prevent damage to their robot.

Next Sewer Snake was against I.C.B.M. this fight started with Sewer Snake taking I.C.B.M. into the rails. I.C.B.M. then got away, and Sewer Snake chased after it, and lifted it, I.C.B.M. then attempted to take Sewer Snake into the rails. This however failed, and Sewer Snake responded by putting I.C.B.M. on its side, and then flipping it over for yet another win by knockout.

Now Sewer Snake was against the drum spinner of Stormovik. This fight started with Stormovik having drive issues, despite this it managed to get underneath Sewer Snake and pop it into the air with its drum. However this attack also caused Stormovik to stop moving, this allowed Sewer Snake to pit Stormovik for yet another easy KO.

Sewer Snakes final match of the event was against Speedy. This fight has been lost to time unfortunately, and all that is known is that Sewer Snake won, and due to Speedys chronic reliability issues it was likely by knockout. This undefeated run meant that Sewer Snake won the 2004 ComBots Open.

Robogames 2005Edit

Sewer Snakes RoboGames debut match was against Body Slam. It is unknown how this fight went other than the fact that Sewer Snake won, this put them against former BattleBots competitor Towering Inferno.

This fight started very well, due to Towering Infernos sheer size Sewer Snake started the battle with its wedge raised, and immediately went about controlling its opponent. Sewer Snake then threw Towering Inferno out the arena.

However the fight was not over, as Towering inferno used its axes to pound its way out of its predicament. Sewer snake then delivered two consecutive slams into the wall before finally managing to immobilize Towering Inferno by placing one half of its drive-train out of the arena.

This win put them against another former BattleBots competitor SJ. This is another fight where only the results are known, and Sewer Snake moved on to fight defending champion Megabyte.

This fight started with Megabyte spinning up, however Sewer Snake was a step ahead, using its tough front wedge to get in underneath its opponent, and take them to the wall. This hit managed to destabilize Megabyte a bit. After this Megabyte managed to get things together enough to use its front wedgelet that had been attached to the robot specifically for this fight to get in underneath Sewer Snakes wedge and pop them repeatedly. After several more attacks like this Sewer Snake managed to get a good hit with its wedge in.

This sent Megabyte flying into the air, this in turn resulted in Megabyte careening around the arena for a bit. Sewer snake then delivered three slams to Megabyte before sending them flying again. By this point Sewer Snake had managed to stop Megabytes spinner.

This allowed Sewer Snake to attempt a flip, however this failed, and Megabyte. Who was now up to full speed came in and took a shot at Sewer Snake who had his wedge up, sending them spinning away. Sewer Snake however quickly recovered, and delivered Megabyte to the walls as the clock wound down.

This win put them in the final against Robot Wars Series 7 champion Typhoon 2. However Typhoon 2 was too damaged after its fight against Megabyte, and was forced to forfeit. This meant Sewer Snake had won the Gold Medal in its first ever RoboGames competition without even having to fight a robot in the finals.

2005 RFL NationalsEdit

All that is known about this events Heavyweight class is that Sewer Snake beat both Stormovik, and Megabyte to win the championship.

Combots Cup IEdit

Sewer Snakes first match was against Last Rites. Not much is known about this fight other than the fact that Sewer Snake won, This win put them up against SJ.

This fight started with Sewer Snake driving onto SJ's wedge, SJ then promptly flipped Sewer Snake, Sewer Snake however landed on its wheels. Sewer Snake then attempted to get under SJ but kept driving up its wedge, Sewer Snake then flipped itself but quickly self righted. Sewer Snake then finally got underneath SJ, and flipped it over into a position to where it could not self right for the win by knockout.

Sewer Snakes next fight was against the deadly shell spinner Megabyte. This fight started with Megabyte getting up to speed, and Sewer Snake taking it to the rails multiple times. Megabyte then managed to get a hit on Sewer Snakes wedge, however this did no damage, and Sewer Snake rammed Megabyte three more times.

On this third attack a piece came off of Megabyte who was then rammed by Sewer Snake again, slamming it into the rails, and sending it gyrating around the arena. Once Megabyte regained control Sewer Snake got under it again, and repeated the attack. Again sending Megabyte around the arena out of control.

Sewer Snake then managed to stop Megabytes spinner, and took it to the wall again, however this was only temporary as Megabyte soon got back up to speed. Sewer Snake then slammed the now spinning Megabyte into the rails again, it followed this attack up by raising its lifing wedge and ramming Megabyte. This sent Sewer Snake flying, it quickly recovered and slammed Megabyte into the rails again, Sewer Snake repeated this attack until time expired.

Robogames 2006Edit

For Robogames 2006 Sewer Snake was fighting as a Superheavyweight, and its only opponent was Ziggy. As such it was set up as a best 2 out of 3. Unfortunately for Sewer Snake this did not go well at all.

The first fight started with Sewer Snake lifting Ziggy and taking it around the arena. Unfortunately for Sewer Snake, Ziggy then got underneath them and sent them flying halfway across the arena, and over the rails.

For round 2 Sewer Snake had a different lifting attachment on the top of the machine. This fight started with Sewer Snake driving onto Ziggy's wedge, but backing off before Ziggy could use its flipper to send them flying. Sewer Snake then attempted to get around to the side of Ziggy but was unsuccessful.

Sewer Snake then finally managed to get under Ziggy, but while trying to take them to a wall Sewer Snake hit a floor seam causing Ziggy to slide off their forks. After this Sewer Snake drove over the top of Ziggy, which fired its flipper but missed.

Ziggy then spun around and delivered four consecutive flips to Sewer Snake, nearly getting them out of the arena again. Ziggy then flipped the now inverted Sewer Snake again, however Sewer Snake retaliated by getting underneath Ziggy, and pushing them around. Sewer snake then used Ziggys wedge combined with their own drivetrain to right themselves, and proceed to deliver a slam to the front of Ziggy. After this attack Ziggy flipped Sewer Snake again, but the resulting flip left their flipper stuck in the upright position.

This allowed Sewer Snake to come in and push Ziggy around some more. At this point it became a drivers duel, with no bot gaining the advantage until Ziggy managed to get under Sewer Snake and push them into the wall. This continued until the buzzer was sounded, and the resulting judges decision was for Ziggy meaning Sewer Snake had won the Silver Medal without winning a single fight.

Robogames 2007Edit

Sewer Snakes first fight in RG07 was against defending Gold Medalist Original Sin. This fight started with both bots colliding, Original Sin however quickly gained the upper hand, flipping Sewer Snake. Original Sin then tried to prevent Sewer Snake from self righting, this however failed.

Sewer Snake then got underneath Original Sin and tried to lift them, but only managed to lift Original Sins front hinged wedges. However Sewer Snake then got around to the side of Original Sin and started pushing it around. Sewer Snake then got under Original Sin again, this time lifting it and taking it to the wall.

Original Sin then got underneath Sewer Snake and tried taking it to the wall, but wound up driving itself into the wall instead. Sewer Snake then tried and failed to lift Original Sin, this allowed Original Sin to get under Sewer Snake a few times before Sewer Snake managed to lift Original Sin once more.

Sewer Snake could not do anything with that attack however as its lifting forks failed to hold Original Sin, and Original Sin retaliated by flipping Sewer Snake, and ramming them into the wall multiple times. After this Sewer Snake got under Original Sin but failed to do anything, Original Sin however rammed Sewer Snake again, and started driving them into the arena walls again.

This continued until the match ended, and the resulting judges decision was in favor of Original Sin, meaning Sewer Snake was in the losers bracket.

Sewer Snakes next match was against shell spinner Spinning Mayhem. This fight started with Spinning Mayhem immediately spinning up to speed, and Sewer Snake rushing in and stopping the spinner.

Spinning Mayhem then spun back up, hit Sewer Snake on the wedge, lost control and flipped themselves over. This gave Sewer Snake the opportunity to flip the now immobilized Spinning Mayhem out of the arena for an easy knockout.

This win put them up against Full Smash. This fight started with Full Smash getting its disc up to full speed, however they turned side on to Sewer Snake, this allowed Sewer Snake to drive them to the wall, and flip them out of the arena ten seconds into the match.

This win put them up against a severely crippled Sir Loin. This fight started with Sir Loin using the wedges that were borrowed from Original Sin to get underneath Sewer Snake and take it to the wall. After Sir Loin had gotten underneath Sewer Snake several more times Sewer Snake returned the favor by getting underneath Sir Loin.

However Sir Loin slid off of Sewer Snakes front lifters, got underneath Sewer Snake and slammed it into the wall again. Sewer Snake then flipped itself, but self righted and flipped Sir Loin, however Sir Loin then resumed getting underneath Sewer Snake. Sewer Snake then slammed Sir Loin into the wall, this slam left Sir Loin unable to move, Sewer Snake then tried to get its immobile opponent out of the arena. However Sir Loin got counted out before Sewer Snake could achieve this, denying them a third consecutive OOtA.

This win put them in the losers bracket quarter finals against SJ. This fight started with both robots trying to get under each other, ultimately it was SJ that managed to get under Sewer Snake first. However due to SJ's flat top Sewer Snake simply drove right over it. Sewer Snake then got under SJ twice, and on the second time, attempted to lift it. This failed, and SJ then got under Sewer Snake and attempted to flip it. However this unsuccessful attack allowed Sewer Snake to get under the side of SJ and lift them in the air.

After letting SJ go, Sewer Snake then rammed SJ into the wall before lifting them yet again, SJ then sent Sewer Snake flying into the wall. Sewer Snake recovered and attempted to lift SJ again but only managed to flip itself. After self righting Sewer Snake again flipped itself while attempting a lift, this allowed SJ to get in a blow with its flipping hammer.

Sewer Snake then righted itself again, however SJ then got underneath and nearly managed to flip Sewer Snake out of the arena. Sewer Snake then righted itself again, but SJ immediately flipped it over again, Sewer Snake then got flipped two more times by SJ. SJ then got a hammer blow in on Sewer Snake, after this attack Sewer Snake managed to flip SJ, and nearly got it out of the arena. SJ quickly righted itself, but Sewer Snake was still underneath it, Sewer Snake then drove SJ to the wall and attempted to get them out of the arena, as the clock was ticking down.

The resulting judges decision was in Sewer Snakes favor, and that put them in the losers bracket finals which would be a rematch against Original Sin.

This fight started with Original Sin using its wedge to get under Sewer Snake before taking them to the wall. Sewer Snake then escaped but Original Sin chased it down and took it to the wall again. Sewer Snake then escaped and got under Original Sin before flipping them against the arena wall. Original Sin escaped, and tried to prevent Sewer Snake from righting itself. This however failed, and Sewer Snake got under Original Sin again. This time flipping them out of the arena for a well fought victory.

This put Sewer Snake in the finals against Ray Billings deadly spinner Last Rites. This fight started with Last Rites getting up to speed, Sewer Snake then used its wedge attachment to take the fearsome spinner weapon to weapon. Last Rites then got a blow in on Sewer Snakes wedge that sent both bots spinning away.

Sewer Snake then came in and slammed Last Rites, this caused one half of Last Rites drive to fail. Now with its opponent crippled Sewer Snake came in again, this time getting under Last Rites, and slammed it against the side wall causing Last Rites to rip its own wheel out. However in the process of this attack Last Rites managed to knock one of Sewer Snakes wheels askew. Last Rites got up to speed again, and Sewer Snake came in and flipped it again. This stopped Last Rites blade, allowing Sewer Snake to come in and slam Last Rites against the wall again.

Sewer Snake continued putting pressure on Last Rites, not allowing it to spin up while taking it to the walls. After this Sewer Snake flipped Last Rites up on its side, where it was counted out. This meant Sewer Snake had won its second Heavyweight Gold Medal.

Robogames 2008Edit

Sewer Snakes first fight was against Team Moons drum spinner Gerald. This fight started with Gerald getting up to full speed, and Sewer Snake getting in underneath. Sewer Snake then flipped Gerald against the arena wall, Gerald then used the power of its drum to escape from that position. Sewer Snake then attempted to put Gerald on its side, but this failed. Gerald then landed right side up, Sewer Snake then stacked Gerald against the arena again. Sewer Snake then freed Gerald, which then started spinning in place.

This allowed Sewer Snake to get in underneath Gerald again. Sewer Snake then slammed Gerald into the wall again, then followed it up by flipping it against another wall.. Sewer Snake then flipped Gerald again, and got stuck on the arena wall for a few seconds.

after a few more attacks by Sewer Snake, Gerald finlly managed to make contact with its drum, knocking Sewer Snakes front right wheel lose. Sewer Snake then flipped Gerald, and slammed it into the arena wall again. However with 30 seconds left on the clock Gerald stopped moving, and tapped out.

Sewer Snakes next match was against former Robot Wars Series 7 runner-up Storm II. These two had fought each other before in the 2006 UK Championships. The match started off with Storm II slamming into Sewer Snake, popping them a few feet off the ground. then getting underneath Sewer Snake and taking them to the wall.

Sewer Snake then got underneath Storm II and returned the favor, however when they tried to flip them, Storm II managed to get away and slam Sewer Snake into the wall again. Sewer Snake then got underneath Storm II and slammed them into the wall again.

Storm II then started driving around taking strategic pot shots at Sewer Snake, Sewer Snake then got underneath Storm II and flipped them upside down.

Storm II then used its lifting arm to self right, and delivered Sewer Snake to the wall. Sewer Snake then attempted to slam Storm II into the wall but missed and wound up driving itself into the wall instead. By this point however Storm II was having drive issues, and this allowed Sewer Snake to get underneath them from the side, and slam and flip them into the side wall. Storm II then tried and failed to right itself.

This allowed Sewer Snake to come over and slam Storm II into the wall twice. Again Storm II tried and failed to right itself, and again Sewer Snake slammed Storm II against the wall. After this Storm II finally managed to right itself, however Sewer Snake then repeatedly slammed Storm II against the arena wall as the seconds ticked down.

This win put them against former BattleBots competitor Vlad The Impaler II. Sewer Snake won the fight, this put it up against Original Sin, Sewer Snake lost the match. That meant Sewer Snake was now in the losers bracket finals against Last Rites. However Sewer Snake had technical issues and was forced to forfeit the match meaning Sewer Snake was eliminated from the tournement with a bronze for its troubles.

Robogames 2009Edit

Sewer Snakes first opponent was newcomer Counter Revolution. This fight started with Counter Revolution spinning its dual flywheels up to speed. Sewer Snake then got in underneath Counter Revolution, and flipped them against the wall. Counter revolution was now stuck on its side, and with no self righting mechanism Counter Revolution was counted out as Sewer Snake did a victory dance. This win put Sewer Snake against the bot they forefeited to last year, Last Rites.

This fight started with Last Rites getting up to full speed before Sewer Snake used its wedge attatchment to try to deflect Last Rites spinner. However Last Rites instead wound up driving over Sewer Snake, and taking out both of its left tires. This left Sewer Snake only able to drive in circles, allowing Last Rites come in for another attack on Sewer Snake. This time ripping off its front right tire, despite being down to one wheel Sewer Snake managed to use its wedge to send Last Rites flying into the wall. This attack broke Last Rites weapon, however with only one side of drive Sewer Snake was vunerable to being shoved around by Last Rites.

Last Rites then attempted to drive Sewer Snake into the wall but failed. Sewer Snake then tried the same tactic but was unable to do so, Last Rites then tried shoving Sewer Snake but could not get enough purchase on the arena floor to do so. Eventually Last Rites managed to catch Sewer Snake at the right angle to shove them into the wall. This proved to be the last attack in this match, as the clock soon ran down after a few more seconds of the bots trying to get traction on the other. With the resulting judges decision against them Sewer Snake was now in the losers bracket against Brazilian drum spinner Touro Maximus.

As soon as the fight started Touro Maximus got up to full speed and hit Sewer Snake on their wedge. This knocked Sewer Snake back a few feet, Sewer Snake then attempted to get under Touro Maximus. This however failed, and Touro Maximus tried lining up a shot with its drum, but it missed and hit the arena wall instead. Touro Maximus the got in two good hits on Sewer Snakes wedge before Sewer Snake finally got under Touro Maximus and flipped it out of the arena.

This win put them up against SJ in the losers bracket semi finals. This was another fight that not much is known about. What is known is that Sewer Snake won putting them in the losers bracket finals against long time rivals Original Sin. This was another fight where no known video exists, the results however are known as Sewer Snake was eliminated from the tournement. This meant Sewer Snake took bronze for the second year in a row.

Robogames 2010Edit

For Robogames 2010 the Heavyweight competition was done in the round robin format. This meant each bot had to face one another once. If two bots had an equal amount of wins at the end of the round robin, those two would face each other for the gold.

Sewer Snakes first fight was against SJ. As soon as the fight started Sewer Snake started getting under SJ, eventually slamming the Idaho machine into the arena wall. Sewer Snake then went on the attack again, delivering another slam to SJ before attempting to flip them out the arena. After releasing SJ, Sewer Snake got under the front wedge of SJ, and lifted it for an attempt to ram it against the arena wall. This failed, Sewer Snake then got under SJ again and attempted to lift it, but only lifted itself before nearly flipping itself. This mistake allowed SJ to flip Sewer Snake against the arena side wall, Sewer Snake recovered, and got under SJ again but failed to do anything.

Sewer Snake then rammed SJ against the arena wall but momentarily got its wedge stuck under the rails in the process. SJ was unable to capitalize on this as Sewer Snake freed itself before its opponent could do anything. Sewer Snake then got under SJ again, and flipped it against the arena wall, nearly sending it over the rails. While trying to finish SJ off Sewer Snake flipped itself over, this resulted in both bots self righting in near synchronization. Sewer Snake then shoved SJ around a bit before SJ got a lift in on Sewer Snake, after this Sewer Snake delivered a ram that messed up SJs wedge for a few seconds. Sewer Snake then took SJ to the wall in the dying seconds of the match, nearly being flipped by SJs flipper.

After the win against SJ, Sewer Snakes next match was supposed to be against newcomers Smash & Wrecker. However Smash & Wrecker encountered technical issues and were forced to forfeit the match. Instead Sewer Snake faced Original Sin.

This fight started with both machines slamming into each other at full speed. Original Sin then tried to take Sewer Snake to the wall, after a bit more driving Original Sin slammed into Sewer Snake. This sent Sewer Snake into the wall, Sewer Snake recovered and attempted to lift Original Sin. This failed, and Original Sin then got under Sewer Snake again, after this Original Sin hit a floor seam and popped up into the air. This allowed Sewer Snake to get in underneath Original Sin, and attempt another lift. This failed, but Sewer Snake got back underneath Original Sin, and attempted to drive it into the wall.

Original Sin then got under Sewer Snake, and slammed it into the wall, then followed this up by getting under Sewer Snake again. This time however Sewer Snake used its lifters to escape from this situation, and delivered Original Sin to the wall. After this both bots slamed into one another again before Sewer Snake slammed Original Sin into the wall again.

Sewer Snake then got underneath Original Sin and attempted to flip it, however this only resulted in Sewer Snake flipping itself. This error allowed Original Sin to ram Sewer Snake into the arena wall, nearly sending it over the rails. Both bots then locked wedges before Sewer Snake again flipped itself while trying to overturn Original Sin. Sewer Snake then struggled to self right, and when it finally managed to right itself, its wedge was stuck under the rails. Sewer Snake then flipped itself again while trying to get free, this allowed Original Sin to come in and attempt to ram Sewer Snake into the arena walls. However Original Sin missed and waound up slamming itself into the arena wall, both bots locked wedges again before Original Sin tried to take Sewer Snake to the wall again.

Following this failed attack Sewer Snake tried, but failed to get a lift in. Original Sin then rammed Sewer Snake into the wall again, flipping it in the process. After this Sewer Snake tried to flip Original Sin over the rails in the final seconds of the match. This failed and a judges decision was called in favor of Original Sin.

Sewer Snakes next match was supposed to be against Preda Raptor. However Preda Raptor was forced to forfeit this match meaning Sewer Snakes next opponent would be Vlad The Impaler II.

This fight began with both bots colliding, Vlad was lower however and proceeded to slam Sewer Snake into the rails. This attack high centered Sewer Snake on its lifting forks, allowing Vlad to come in and nearly flip Sewer Snake over the rails. Sewer Snake was still stuck so Vlad came in and freed it. Both machines then started having trouble gaining traction on the arena floor. Vlad being the more mobile of the two rushed in and rammed Sewer Snake against the arena rails again. Sewer Snake then drove its wedge under the rails, and got stuck.

Vlad then freed Sewer Snake before ramming it into the rails yet again. However after slamming Sewer Snake into the rails one more time, Vlad broke down, and was counted out.

Sewer Snakes next fight was against long time rival Last Rites. As soon as Last Rites got up to speed Sewer Snake plowed into it, attempting to take it to the wall. This failed, and Last Rites took a tire off of Sewer Snake, this had no effect on Sewer Snake as it still had five wheels remaining. Sewer Snake then rammed Last Rites into the wall, which sent the fearsome bar spinner skidding across the side of the arena. Sewer Snake then rammed Last Rites again before Last Rites hit Sewer Snake. This hit sent both bots spinning, Last Rites recovered first and tore another tire off of Sewer Snake.

Now with four wheels Sewer Snake rammed Last Rites again, this time sending Last Rites flying. This caused Last Rites to gyro dance for a few seconds, and also broke Last Rites weapon. Sewer Snake then rammed Last Rites into the rails, which caused it to start smoking. Sewer Snake then pushed Last Rites around for a bit before attempting to drive them into the rails again. Sewer Snake missed, but quickly recovered and rammed Last Rites again. Then both bots continued to vie for position, before Sewer Snake got two slams in during the dying seconds of the match.

Winning this fight meant Sewer Snake was now in the finals against Touro Maximus. This fight started with Sewer Snake getting underneath Touro Maximus, and slamming it into the rails. This caused Touro Maximus to get stuck, Sewer Snake then freed Touro Maximus which then proceeded to chew up Sewer Snakes wedge. Sewer Snake then slammed Touro Maximus into the rails, where it got stuck again. After freeing Touro Maximus, Sewer Snake performed another slam to the rails on Touro Maximus. Touro Maximus then got a hit in with its drum, shredding one of Sewer Snakes rear tires.

Sewer Snake then delivered Touro Maximus to the rails again. Touro Maximus got stuck again, Sewer Snake then freed Touro Maximus as the clock ran down. The resulting judges decision was in favor of Sewer Snake meaning that it had won its third gold medal.

Robogames 2011Edit

Sewer Snakes first match was against newcomers Gruff. This fight started with Gruff taking Sewer Snake to the rails, Gruff then clamped down on Sewer Snake before releasing it. Sewer Snake then got under Gruff, and slammed it against the rails. Gruff quickly self righted before Sewer Snake slammed Gruff into the rails again, flipping Gruff yet again. Once again Gruff self righted, Sewer Snake then slammed Gruf into the rails once more. This caused Gruffs arm to get stuck in the rails, Sewer Snake tried to get Gruff over the rails, this however only resulted in Gruff being freed.

Gruff then righted itself and attempted a lift on Sewer Snake, this failed, which allowed Sewer Snake to ram Gruff into the rails. This time Gruff stayed on its wheels, and escaped, Sewer Snake then chased Gruff down and attempted to flip it against the rails again. However this only resulted in Sewer Snake flipping itself, Sewer Snake then flipped Gruff against the rails, resulting in the fight being paused for a free unstick. Sewer Snake then got multiple slams in on Gruff, however Gruff then managed to lift Sewer Snake, before attempting to slam it into the rails. This failed, which allowed Sewer Snake to go in and slam Gruff into the rails again. Sewer Snake then flipped Gruff again, this time however Gruff could not self right and was counted out.

Sewer Snakes next fight was against another rookie bot Live Free or Die. As soon as this fight started Sewer Snake rushed in and delivered a slam to Live Free or Die, after this Sewer Snake got under Live Free or Die again, and activated its flamethrower. Live free or die then got under Sewer Snake, fired its flipper nearly sending Sewer Snake over the rails, Sewer Snake then righted itself and sent Live Free or Die over the rails.

This meant Sewer Snake was in the quarter finals against the flamethrower wedge of newcomer Ragin Scotsman. This was an action packed fight from the word go, with Sewer Snake getting under Ragin Scotsman, taking it to the rails twice. Sewer Snake then roasted it with its flamethrower, after this Ragin Scotsman activated its flamethrower.

Sewer Snake then slammed Ragin Scotsman into the rails again, Ragin Scotsman then got under Sewer Snake and activated its flamethrower. Sewer Snake got underneath Ragin Scotsman, and attempted to flip it over the rails. This resulted in Sewer Snake flipping itself, and Ragin Scotsman losing a tire, with three wheels Ragin Scotsman then got under Sewer Snake again but was unable to do anything.

Both bots jockeyed for position before Sewer Snake got under Ragin Scotsman, and again slammed it into the rails. Ragin Scotsman then rammed Sewer Snake, who then got underneath Ragin Scotsman, and slammed it into the rails again. With Ragin Scotsman pinned against the rails, Sewer Snake activated its flamethrower until Ragin Scotsman got free.

With Ragin Scottsman on its back, this left Sewer Snake able to get under it with ease. Sewer Snake then slammed Ragin Scotsman into the wall again, Ragin Scotsman then got away. Sewer Snake however came back on the attack, and slammed Ragin Scotsman into the rails two more times.

This third slam flipped Ragin Scottsman back on its wheels, it immediately took advantage of this and attempted to shove Sewer Snake into the rails. Sewer Snake then slammed Ragin Scotsman into the rails twice as the clock ticked down. The resulting judges decision was 19-14 for Sewer Snake.

This win meant they were in the semi finals against Breaker Box. This fight started with Sewer Snake slamming Breaker Box against the rails and roasting it. After attempting to flip Breaker Box out the arena Sewer Snake then got stuck on the rails temporarily, this allowed Breaker Box to get under Sewer Snake.

Breaker Box then tried to slam Sewer Snake into the rails, but missed. This allowed Sewer Snake to get underneath Breaker Box, and slam it into the rails again. Breaker Box then started hammering away at Sewer Snake with its 360 degree plow to get free.

Once free Breaker Box tried to bring its plow into the upwards position, and broke one of the arms holding the plow. Now without its weapon Breaker Box slammed Sewer Snake into the rails, then followed that up with a ram. This follow up attack by Breaker Box flipped Sewer Snake, and it promptly self righted before Breaker Box flipped it again.

Once Sewer Snake was back on its wheels it managed to lift Breaker Box's broken scoop to where it had no effect and flip it against the rails. This battering continued, with Sewer Snake ramming Breaker Box into the rails, and Breaker Box trying to get its scoop into the right position with only one arm functioning. Sewer Snake then delivered another slam to Breaker Box, this attack severed the remaining connection to its plow.

Now weaponless Breaker Box was helpless as Sewer Snake took it to the rails again. This time nearly flipping it over the rails, with the clock ticking down Sewer Snake then slammed Breaker Box into the rails multiple more times. Due to all the damage sustained by Breaker Box, and Sewer Snakes near total dominance during the fight, the judges decision went in Sewer Snakes favor.

This put Sewer Snake in the finals against Last Rites. This fight started with Last Rites spinner apparently broken, this allowed Sewer Snake to slam Last Rites against the rails. Sewer Snakes first attack however managed to fix Last Rites blade, as it was now spinning up to speed.

Last Rites then immediately shredded two of Sewer Snakes tires before Sewer Snake used its wedge to send Last Rites gyrodancing into the rails. This broke one half of Last Rites drive allowing Sewer Snake to slam Last Rites into the rails again. Last Rites then got another hit on Sewer Snakes tires with its spinner.

This attack shredded a third tire but allowed Sewer Snake to get under Last Rites. Sewer Snake then slammed Last Rites into the rails again, and activated its flamethrower. This caused Last Rites to start smoking from its broken drive motor.

Now with Last Rites back up to speed, Sewer Snake slammed it into the rails again, and activated the flamethrower. This fried Last Rites weapon motor, and even more smoke poured out of Last Rites as a result. Now with Last Rites thouroghly crippled, Sewer Snake then flipped it on its side against the arena walls, leaving Last Rites immobilized, and spewing a fountain of smoke. This dramatic knockout meant that Sewer Snake had won the gold medal for the second year in the row.

Robogames 2012Edit

Now the reigning champion for a second year in a row Sewer Snakes first match was a rematch against Gruff. This match started in the same way as it did before with Gruff getting underneath Sewer Snake and slamming it into the rails. Gruff then got under Sewer Snake and lifted it a few times before Sewer Snake attempted to slam Gruff into the rails.

Sewer Snake then got under Gruff again, and flipped it against the rails. Gruff promptly used its lifter to get out of this situation before Sewer Snake again slammed Gruff into the rails. After righting itself Gruff attempted to ram Sewer Snake into the rails again, however Gruff missed allowing Sewer Snake to flip Gruff against the rails again, this time getting Gruff stuck.

This caused the match to be paused to allow Gruff have its free unstick. Once the fight resumed, Gruff slammed Sewer Snake into the rails again, and used its arm to clamp down on Sewer Snake. After letting Sewer Snake go Gruff then wedged underneath its opponent but failed to lift it.

Sewer Snake was unable to do anything with Gruffs failed attack however, as shortly after this Gruff got under Sewer Snake again, and delivered it to the rails. With 30 seconds left on the clock Sewer Snake then got under Gruff, and slammed it into the rails. Gruff then continued to grapple with Sewer Snake as the clock wound down.

Sewer Snake won the fight in a very close judges decision, which put them into the next round against Ragin Scotsman.

Robogames 2013Edit

Sewer Snakes first match was against newcomer Big Monkey. Not much is known about this fight other than that Sewer Snake won. This win put them up against Chuck Pitzers Preda Raptor. Before this fight began there was a false start by both robots, forcing the count down to be restarted. As soon as the fight started Preda Immediately came out and tried to get under Sewer Snake to get its lifting jaws in play, which it successfuly did not once but twice. Sewer Snake then got Preda Raptor against the arena wall and attempted to flip them out. This however failed and allowed Preda Raptor to come in and lift Sewer Snake again. After this Preda Raptor attempted another lift but Sewer Snake managed to use its own lifter against it, and flipped Preda Raptor. Sewer Snake then took Preda Raptor to the wall where they could not self right, and were counted out.
