Scuttle in 2001

Scuttle was a Battery Sprint/Lightweight Sprint entrant, representing Millbrooke Junior School that contested all four series of Techno Games. Despite losing to Waddle by disqualification in 2000, it was very successful, winng the Battery Sprint in Series 2 and 3 and finishing Runner-Up in Series 4 and breaking numerous world records. It was designed and entered by Team 101 from Robot Wars. The team also built a larger version of Scuttle called Scuttle-B-Squared, which won the Internal Combustion Sprint in Techno Games 2002 and 2003 and also competed in the Assault Course in 2002 with Transpower, both of these robots were disarmed versions of their Robot Wars entrants 101 and Anarchy. The team also entered Series 2 of Robot Wars with Robo Doc.
