Overview

Rum Ham XXX is a 2WD featherweight undercutter made by Sunny Robotics. It first fought at Motorama 2019 where it went 4-2 and showcased a tendency to eat the floor. It then came back for the next year only to light itself on fire. Rum Ham XXX then made its Norwalk debut at February 2021 where it managed to qualify for the December finals.

Rum Ham XXX vs Wing Attack Plan R (1)

The fight started with Rum Ham XXX spinning up and deflecting off of Wing Attack Plan R's wedge. Wing Attack Plan R eventually stranded Rum Ham XXX on the wall where it was counted out.

Rum Ham XXX vs Knock-Off White

The fight started with Rum Ham XXX spinning up and flinging itself. Rum Ham XXX managed to fully spin up and tear into Knock-Off White, ripping its hammer head off and ripping into its drive. The fight went to a judges decision where Rum Ham XXX won.

Rum Ham XXX vs Crippling Depression

The fight started with both bots spinning up and exchanging a weapon to weapon shot that flipped Crippling Depression. Crippling Depresssion couldn't self right and was counted out, giving the win to Rum Ham XXX.

Rum Ham XXX vs Wing Attack Plan R (2)

The fight started with Rum Ham XXX trying to spin up before fleeing from Wing Attack Plan R for the entire fight. The fight went to a judges decision where Wing Attack Plan R won.

Rum Ham XXX vs Hyperpolarized

The fight started with both bots spinning up and exchanging weapon to weapon shots that threw Rum Ham XXX into the wall. Rum Ham XXX then ate the floor again and flipped itself. Rum Ham XXX lost its weapon and spent the rest of the fight running from Hyperpolarized. Rum Ham XXX then tapped out after randomly dying, giving the win to Hyperpolarized.

The fight started with neither bot spinning up and Rum Ham XXX catching on fire. The fight was then immediately called for 5 Lights.

Rum Ham XXX vs The Other Robot (1)

The fight started with Rum Ham XXX spinning up and exploding The Other Robot's weapon supports. The Other Robot got assistance from Fluffy to get moving again before Rum Ham XXX landed a shot that threw The other Robot into the wall and exploded the remains of its weapon supports. Rum Ham XXX then tapped out because the drive was dying.

Rum Ham XXX vs This Robot is Not Overhaul

The fight started with Rum Ham XXX spinning up and deflecting off of This Robot Is Not Overhaul's wedge twice before launching itself high. After This Robot Is Not Overhaul tried and failed to suplex Rum Ham XXX, Rum Ham XXX spun up and tore off two of This Robot Is Not Overhaul's wheels. The fight went to a judges decision where Rum Ham XXX won.

Rum Ham XXX vs Plyohazard

The fight started with both bots spinning up and Rum Ham flinging itself into the wall and seemingly dying. Fluffy then rammed Rum Ham into the wall to get it moving, but it didn't work and Rum Ham was counted out. The fight was restarted after it was revealed that Rum Ham still worked. Rum Ham spun up and proceeded to hack away at Plyohazard. Rum Ham threw itself into the wall again as Plyohazard was high centered on something. Plyohazard tapped out, giving the win to Rum Ham XXX.

Rum Ham XXX vs Big Ripto

The fight started with both bots spinning up and Big Ripto deflecting Rum Ham XXX into the wall. Rum Ham XXX recovered and delivered a panel peeling shot to Big Ripto's side and launching itself into the wall where a Fluffy assist was required. Rum Ham XXX lost its weapon, but pushed Big Ripto into the wall and flipped it. Rum Ham XXX attempted to spin up after Big Ripto self righted only to catch on fire. Big Ripto was counted out with one second to spare, giving the win to Rum Ham XXX.

NHRL 2021 Finals

Rum Ham XXX vs Dragon Princess

Rum Ham! Rum Ham! Get it while it's hot!

The fight started with Rum Ham XXX attempting to spin up and Dragon Princess box rushing it. Dragon Princess then got Rum Ham XXX on its wedge and started barbecuing it. Rum Ham XXX escaped and started giving Dragon Princess a wide berth as they were now shooting flames at Rum Ham XXX whenever possible. Rum Ham XXX then spun up and landed a few shots on Dragon Princess' minibot before hitting Dragon Princess' main wedge and shooting itself into the air. Rum Ham XXX recovered and spun back up before bringing the fight to Dragon Princess as an Encore was called. Rum Ham XXX managed to rip off one of Dragon Princess' rear wheels and kill its minibot before pinballing around the arena again, flipping itself. Dragon Princess took full advantage and started flame grilling Rum Ham XXX. This managed to put the giant undercutter out of commission for the rest of the fight as smoke started coming out of the now Rumless Ham XXX. (A/N: I was cracking up while writing this because it easily sounds like cooking gone wrong out of context.) Rum Ham XXX self righted and started running circles around Dragon Princess, but was still getting clipped by the flame jet at times. Rum Ham XXX did manage to pin Dragon Princess into the corner, but it was too little too late as there were 20 seconds left in the fight and Dragon Princess reversed it and pinned Rum Ham XXX to Fluffy anyway. The fight went to a judges decision where Dragon Princess won.

Rum Ham XXX vs Plyohazard

The fight started with both bots spinning up and Rum Ham getting one tap on (Liftoff)² before flinging itself into the air. Rum Ham XXX spun back up and started chasing down (Liftoff)² as it killed Plyohazard. The entire fight was Rum Ham XXX corralling (Liftoff)² around the arena. The fight went to a judges decision where Rum Ham XXX won.

Rum Ham XXX vs Twister

The fight started with Twister spinning up and Rum Ham XXX shooting into the air on a spin-up attempt. After a few more failed spin-ups, Rum Ham XXX decided to wedge it and destabilized Twister before pinning it into the wall. Fluffy then freed Twister, but it was now smoking as one of its drive ESCs completely died. Rum Ham XXX then proceeded to bully Twister around the arena for the rest of the fight until it went to the judges where Rum Ham XXX won.

Rum Ham XXX vs Tryhard

The fight started with Tryhard spinning up and deflecting off of Rum Ham XXX's wedge. With a nonfuctional undercutter, Rum Ham XXX tried the wedge tactic again, but Tryhard simply tore Rum Ham XXX's wedge off before ripping into one of Rum Ham XXX's wheels. Rum Ham XXX then tapped out to save itself.
