Mazakari was a machine built by students from Queen Elizabeth Sixth Form College, that was entered into the fourth series of Robot Wars. It was a black solid steel framed robot with a large 70cm horizontal cutting disc. The machine was clad in black armour - 3mm thick aluminium checker plates. It was invertible, so it could drive both ways up with its cutting disc working well on both ways. This was aided by a small castor wheel on top with larger metal wheels in the middle.
Like so many others, Mazakari was so close to the weight limit that the team was forced to cut large holes in the disc and framework to reach the limit. Mazakari was defeated in the first round of its only appearance.
Robot History Edit
Mazakari sped its disc up to speed, but Mortis' armour did not even take a scratch as the seed shoved Mazakari into Sergeant Bash. Bash roasted Mazakari before releasing it. Mazakari re-entered the fray, only to be flipped upside down by Mortis. Mortis then scissored its lifting arm on top of Mazakari, stopping the disc and pushing it around, into Iron-Awe, who struck Mazakari with its axe. By now, Mortis had stuck its lifting arm beneath Mazakari and was easily carrying it around the arena, but was unable to free Mazakari from its arm. Bash and Shunt attacked Mazakari, but time ran out by the end. The judges unanimously voted to eliminate Mazakari, even though Iron-Awe had appeared to break down for a long period during the battle, they voted that Mazakari had taken too much damage despite still being mobile.
