InSEPtimus was a robot built by the Department of Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering Faculty from the King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok, Prachinburi Campus in Tambon Noenhom, Amphoe Mueang, Prachinburi Province, Thailand that competed in the first Seacon War of Steel. [1] It was a four-wheeled, silver, circular, cage spinner with omni-wheels for drive. InSEPtimus did decently in competition, winning one battle, and losing another.

The robot, and team's name came from the initials of the phrase, Systems Engineering Instrumentation (Instrumentation System Engineering).[2]

Robot HistoryEdit

Seacon War of Steel 1Edit

InSEPtimus's first fight was against Photong Robot. This match started with InSEPtimus spinning up to speed, and delivering a hit to Photong Robot that popped it into the air. InSEPtimus then popped Photong Robot yet again, which at this point was having mobility issues. InSEPtimus then delivered two more hits to Photong Robot, with the second one sending both robots flying. Upon landing Photong Robot was no longer moving, and InSEPtimus was, Photong Robot was then counted out giving InSEPtimus the win by KO.

InSEPtimus then faced Fat Shark. This fight started with both robots spinning up to speed, Fat Shark then ripped a large chunk out of InSEPtimus's shell, destablizing it, and sending it pinballing into the arena wall. Fat Shark then delivered three more attacks, ripping chunks off of InSEPtimus each time before InSEPtimus tapped out. This loss meant that InSEPtimus was eliminated from the competition.
