Buford T. Pusser
Buford T. Pusser was an featherweight which competed in the 1996 US Robot Wars competition. It was an extremely low to the ground wedge, with a long extending spike driven by a motor-driven rack. It competed in only one match before having to drop out of the competition.

US Robot Wars 1996[]
Buford T. Pusser's first opponent was the robot Lorena. It was able to get under Lorena and push it around the arena for the first part of the match. Eventually Lorena was hit by one of the arena paddles in a way which bent Lorena's wedge down and propped its wheels off the ground, immobilizing it. Buford T. Pusser was then declared the winner as Lorena could no longer move.
Buford T. Pusser dropped out of the competition after this match for unknown reasons.
